Mario Testino, renowned fashion photographer, celebrated his sixtieth birthday overnight, and basically all of the elegant celebrities – most of whom Testino has photographed, for the likes of Vogue, at some point in his career – turned out to wish him well.
The theme was red, black and white, in order to evoke Havana in the 1940s. Kate Moss wore a transparent red dress (although its transparency has nothing on Rihanna's Swarovski number, which is kind of what I expecting when I first heard about it) over a Stella McCartney leopard swimsuit, her BFF Naomi Campbell inexplicably wore a plunging silver thing, while the most attractive couple in the world, Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge, stuck strictly, and elegantly, to theme. Edie Campbell looked adorably how she always looks, Lara Stone looked like a, ah, stone cold fox as per usual, Rita Ora looked just, like, inappropriate – what is that jacket? – and I'm kind of into Stella McCartney's turban, although her super serious clutch-to-the-face posing game probs needs a little work.
