Today is the birthday of the gorgeous and consistently incredible, Emma Stone – the woman that pretty much every woman I know has a crush on.
Stone made her cinematic debut in the 2007 Judd Apatow hit, Superbad, in which she played the bangin' Jules. In 2009 she came back around with Zombieland playing the gun-toting badass working to protect her and her sister in the wasteland at any costs.
2010–2011 saw the release of three total knockout films that cemented Stone as a huge name in the Hollywood landscape – Easy A, Crazy, Stupid, Love, and The Help. You'll remember Crazy, Stupid, Love as that movie where she got to launch herself at a topless Ryan Gosling and the words "stupid lucky bitch" kinda just tumbled out of your mouth.
Stone then went on to play Spider-man's squeeze, Gwen Stacy, in The Amazing Spider-Man movie franchise and has been dating leading man, Andrew Garfield, as a result since 2011.
In 2013 it was announced that Stone had signed on to her first Woody Allen project, Magic in the Moonlight, a romantic comedy where she stars alongside Colin Firth, which was released earlier this year. Her involvement in another Woody Allen project has also been announced where she will be joined by Joaquin Phoenix and Parker Posey.
Quite aside from her acting ability though, Stone is widely recognised for her down-to-earth sensibility and humour – Jonah Hill allegedly described her as the funniest person on set during the making of Superbad (and that's really saying something). In 2012 the MTV Trailblazer award saw its inaugural year and was awarded to Emma Stone for her deeply original presence in cinema. Any talk show interviews with the actor are definitely worth watching as well, she has a really intelligent, self-effacing presence that makes her totally endearing. Also, the girl really knows how to work a red carpet. See below for some of our favourite Emma Stone fashion moments. She's also one hell of a lip-syncer:
