Ovna Ovich is a fledgling New Zealand-based label who are committed to environmentalism and ethics in fashion, and have just released the campaign for their summer 2014-15 collection.
Called Chapter Two, this collection discusses the relationship between fashion textiles and their natural environment. Firstly, Chapter Two uses environmentally sound textiles, including organic cotton, linen, and silk. These textiles are then constructed into garments that are utilitarian and organic in colour, and reflect the natural environments they come from. All of this is to say that the pieces remind us that we rely on nature for pretty much everything, including the clothing on our backs and should respect it accordingly. Check out the campaign imagery below and head over here to shop the range (they have a fancy new website launching this Thursday).
