At New Zealand Fashion Week earlier this year, Kate Sylvester presented her winter 2015 collection. Called Tartt, it's based on author Donna Tartt and her novel, The Secret History, both of which RULE. Her summer 2014-15 collection, available now, is based on Eleanor Catton's Man Booker prize-winning novel, The Luminaries.
Needless to say, Kate Sylvester is inspired by literature, so it makes sense that she would name each of her eyewear styles after a literary hero. She has released three new shapes for summer 2014-15 that are inspired by Camille from the novel of the same name by Alexandre Dumas, and Anna, from Catton's aforementioned novel The Luminaries. The campaign was photographed in New Zealand and features New Zealand model gone global, Holly Rose Emery. So go forth, find a quiet spot in the sun, and read your favourite book (you'll need sunglasses for that of course).
