Perhaps the only thing that receives more adoration than Karen Walker's sunglasses themselves, are the campaigns she releases every season to support them. From dictator-style mug shots, to the ladies of Advanced Style, to the Kenyan workers who created her environmentally friendly eyewear pouches, the stars of her campaigns, ah, reflect the frivolity and tongue-in-cheek nature of the collections themselves.
For her summer 2015 range Walker has recruited a tiny, adorable King Charles Cavalier who has over 149, 000 Instagram followers. The pup lost all of his teeth because of improper care, and was rescued by publicist Katie Sturino and comedian Josh Ostrovsky who then created said Instagram account. Here he is for Karen Walker:
This isn't the first time fashion labels have recruited dogs for their campaigns. Can we please take a moment to remember Acne's amazing summer 2013 campaign, featuring two adorable weimaraner dogs, photographed by dog photography specialist, William Wegman. Or Wegman's campaign for Trussardi's spring 2014 collection, in which a greyhound wears a red snakeskin jacket. Yes, that is a photo that exists and it's amazing:
