You may recognise Meadowlark's jewellery from, oh, I donno, the ears and hands of LORDE, RIHANNA and FKA TWIGS, who happen to be massive fans of this New Zealand jewellery brand – particularly last season's septum rings.
For winter 2015 Meadowlark have moved into the world of ancient magical science, AKA alchemy. In their own words: "the Alchemists' goal was to discover the key to turn base metals into gold, conquer disease, and live forever, this collection revels in the idea of symbolism as coded knowledge. While a number of seemingly diverse threads of inspiration are woven to create this collection, it's the commonality of talismanic properties that bind these pieces together – potent defence against our so-called first world problems."
There are pentagrams everywhere, and the pieces are the kind of thing the cast of The Craft would wear, during that scene where they call the four corners on the beach, which makes me very happy indeed / I must own most of the collection.
